Roadmap for European At-Large Organisation
Roadmap for an EU-Regional At-Large Organisation (EURALO) as planned by the At-Large Advisory Committee of ICANN.
Retrospect:
* European Preparatory Meeting (28th of May 2006 in Frankfurt)
- Defining key issues for RALO bylaws to work on
- Decision: EURALO shall have two sorts of memberships: organisational and individual
- Drafting a EU-RALO Roadmap 2006/7
* Online working phase:
- Working on the key issues for RALO bylaws using the WIKI www.wecann.net/ralowiki
- Creation of an EURALO mailing list
- Aggregation of the key issues of the ralowiki send out to the EURALO and ALAC mailing lists open for comments
* First RALO Workshop at the ICANN meeting in Marrakesh (June 2006)
Outlook:
Key milestones of the EURALO Roadmap are:
August/September
* Online discussion for the preparation of a final draft of EURALO bylaws until the 9th of September as well as asking for feedback by ALAC and the ICANN Board
* Preparation of a synapsis of last decisions to be made until the 16th of September
September
* Meeting to finanlize the bylaws for an European RALO
(17th of September 2006 in Berlin in connection to the international conference WOS 4)
* Subregional outreach Meeting for eastern and central european At-Large Structures
(25. Sept. 06 in Prague)
* Starting online the work on a proposal for a MoU
October
* European RALO inauguration
(during the IGF in Athens, October 2006 - around 29th/30th/31th)
November
* Developing a draft for MoU and using the time until the ICANN meeting in december in Sao Paulo for the phase of comments by the ICANN Board
December
* ICANN meeting in Sao Paulo, 2nd - 8th of December 2006
Discussing the draft of an MOU with ICANN Board
March 2007
* ICANN meeting in Europe, 24th - 30th of March 2007
